South Berkely Ruritan's purpose is to create a better understanding among people and through volunteer community service, make America's communities better places in which to live and work. The slogan of Ruritan is "Fellowship, Goodwill and Community Service." Club membership represents a cross-section of the community in which the club serves, and is not restrictive with regard to occupation, social position, or any other specific criteria.

As Trinity Episcopal Parish, we strive to share the Good News of God, to grow as Christian disciples, and to respond to the needs of the world in the power of the Holy Spirit.  In this way we look to share hope and grace.

Faith Feeding Freedom is a 501(c)(3) organization that feeds the Homeless and Hungry every Friday outside the Martinsburg Library at 11:30 am. We are feeding 75+ people each week.  

There are many homeless, low income families and elderly that do not have the means to meet their basic needs. Providing a nourishing lunch and foods to sustain them. Praying, Fellowship, and taking the time to just listen. Letting them know THEY MATTER!!!!

The Alliance for Period Supplies is an initiative of the National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN)--a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization recognized as the foremost authority on diaper need in America. NDBN leads a national movement aimed at meeting the basic needs of individuals in need.

Launched in May 2018, with the support of founding sponsor U by Kotex®, the Alliance for Period Supplies is comprised of Allied Programs that collect, warehouse and distribute menstrual/period supplies in local communities.

The Martinsburg Initiative (TMI) is a community effort to break the cycle of substance abuse and build strong families.

The initiative is based on the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) that shows how early childhood experiences shape the lives of adults. By creating a dynamic partnership between police, schools, community, health, and education, The Martinsburg Initiative strengthens families and empowers communities by providing a long-term solution to the problem of substance abuse.
